PART NUMBERING DIRECTIONS
The general characteristics of each seal type are defined in the 'Family
Designation' letters that precede the size definition and the jacket
and spring material call-outs.
For instance, 'FFIH' defines a seal with a 'Finger spring energizer'
that conforms to gland particulars per the 'Fractional Inch specification'
and possesses an 'Inner circumference scraper lip' and an extrusion-resistant
'Heavy heel'.
